Sarah Moreau (BA 2018) is a Resident Artist at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga for the 2018-19 season.

I will be working in their textile studio, continuing to explore notions of gender, identity, role-playing, pleasure, relationships, and the female experience through crochet, fibre arts, and performance. I intend on exploring these topics through the lens of ecofeminism, drawing comparisons and mending the divide between nature and culture from a feminist perspective.

The Resident Artist Program at Mississauga has been created to provide opportunities for a blend of recent graduates of arts and design institutions, as well as mid-career artists, to create, explore, learn and exchange ideas and insights, within a multi-disciplinary environment.
Professional development activities include participating in exhibitions, teaching and assisting opportunities as well selling work in the gift shop and contributing to special events and festivals.
