Society of Fine Arts (SoFA) is a student-run organization that represents and builds the community of students of Fine Arts: Studio Practice and Visual Culture at UWaterloo. SoFA has been an integral part of our community. However, SoFA has been quite inactive due to the pandemic over the past year. Now that we are gradually transitioning back to in-person activities, we’re excited to slowly get started again!
We are looking for student volunteers to help us get started! If you are interested, please email us at sofa.uw@gmail.com

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is centralized within our Office of Indigenous Relations.
