St Marie φ Walker are the 2018 City of Waterloo Artist in Residence

Denise St Marie and Timothy Walker (MFA 2017) of St Marie φ Walker have been selected as the 2018 City of Waterloo Artist in Residence. This year's residency will take place in Waterloo Park to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the park.

The project, Prose in the Park, will launch on June 13 from 3 - 8 p.m. at the harvest tables in Waterloo Park (located beside the Skate Park on Father David Bauer Drive). Hands-on workshops, word walks, storytelling activities, word treasure hunts, and activities will take place throughout the summer in different locations in the park from June to September. The residency will conclude at the city's newest festival, Lumen, on September 29.
