Sculpture studio in East Campus Hall before the start of classes.

The 1440 square foot sculpture studio is a large open studio filled with natural light, East Campus Hall (ECH) 1222. Students have 24-hour access and can work on tables and in the open areas. There is also space for students to leave work in progress. The studio is outfitted for working with wax, plaster, plastic, fabric, wood and other materials. There’s also a large sanding table with a dust extractor.

The department also has an impressive array of equipment for working in wood and metal. Please see the woodshop and metal fabrication lab for more details.

Supplies for purchase through the tool crib:

Borrowing equipment:

Basic hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, tape measure, extension cords etc.)sewing machines, serger embroidery machine, power tools (sanders, drills, reciprocating saw, soldering irons etc.) can be borrowed from the Tool Crib.
