Fine Arts students, employees and volunteers, can view Safety Data Sheets for the Fine Arts Studios, Shops and Labs by self-enrolling in the Fine Arts Health and Safety Orientation course on UW-Learn, and then following the link on the course homepage. Copies of all Fine Arts Department Safety Data Sheets are organized by the areas they pertain to.
Printed physical copies of the most used WHMIS controlled substances in Fine Arts are also available throughout the department in areas related to their use.
Any new materials brought into the Fine Arts Studios, Shops and Labs, must be accompanied by up-to-date SDS and may require a Hazard Risk Assessment. Please contact the Media and Studio Labs Manager, Adam Glover, for more information.
