The recipients of the Balsillie Doctoral Fellowship, valued at $25,000 per year, will be expected to involve themselves in research and policy-oriented Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) events pertaining to their work. The Balsillie Doctoral Fellowship is renewable beyond one year for a maximum of four years, but renewal is not automatic. Each year a new application must be submitted. Selection will be made by the appropriate program directors in consultation with CIGI representatives and the respective University offices.

Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
