Award description:
A scholarship valued at a minimum of $1,200 will be provided annually to female graduate students registered full-time in a Master’s or Doctoral program in the Faculty of Mathematics based on demonstrated academic excellence (normally 80% cumulative average in their current program). Preference will be given to students in Computer Science. This fund is made possible by David Ash, BMath ‘87 to support a future female generation of excellence in graduate studies and research.

Value description:
The goal is to provide at least one award valued at a minimum of $1,200 CAD annually, however the value and/or number of awards may change from year to year. While the endowment is building, the donor will support the award with a $2,000 award.
Due to an additional donation from the donor, the Fall 2017 award value will be $5,000.
