The scholarship, valued at $5,000 will be awarded annually to a full-time University of Waterloo graduate student registered in the School of Pharmacy in the Faculty of Science. The scholarship will be awarded to a graduate student on the basis of scholastic excellence and commitment to service in their community.

This scholarship has been established by Janet McDougall, BSc ’71 to honour her parents, Donald Joseph and Kathleen (Kay) Donihee McDougall. Don was a practicing pharmacist from 1934 through 1993, and loved his profession. Both Don and Kay were community leaders, dedicated volunteers, and civic activists. This award honours their contributions and their belief in service to the community.
