Scholarships valued at up to $20,000 each will be provided annually to graduate students registered full time in a Master's or Doctoral program at the School of Accounting and Finance in the Faculty of Arts, and the School of Environment, Enterprise and Development in the Faculty of Environment, at the University of Waterloo. Selection will be made automatically by the respective Schools, without the need of an application, based on academic excellence, extracurricular achievements and/or volunteer involvement with the Hub for Sustainability Integration and demonstrated research in the fields of financial management or sustainability, as appropriate. This award is made possible by a donation from Royal Bank of Canada (RBC).

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
