One scholarship, valued at $6,000, will be awarded annually to a graduate student registered full time in a master's or doctoral program in the Faculty of Health. The Faculty of Health will identify and select a recipient annually based on previous academic accomplishments without the need for an award application. This scholarship is made possible by a donation from The Ross and Doris Dixon Charitable Foundation in honour of its founders.

Eligibility & selection criteria: 

Full-time graduate student enrolled in their first year in any master's or doctoral program in the Faculty of Health.

  • Selection will be based on academic excellence (minimum cumulative average of 80% or equivalent in their current program or over the last two full-time academic years).
  • No application necessary.
  • The Associate Dean, Graduate Studies and Research, in the Faculty of Health will identify candidates and select a recipient annually based on previous academic accomplishments.
