School of Pharmacy Annual Graduate Awards recognize and celebrate excellence by School of Pharmacy Master's and/or Doctoral students during one calendar year of study (winter, spring, fall). Graduate students are automatically considered by the School of Pharmacy without the need for a specific award application. Awards are valued at $250 with up to four awarded in any year based on any of the following criteria:
- Highest Final Grade in the Course PHARM 610 Topics in Drug Development
- Best Student Presentation in the Pharmacy Research Seminar Series
- Best Graduate Student Teaching Assistant
- Substantial Impact on Pharmacy's Overall Research Mission.
Up to four awards given each year, valued at $250 each. Award recipients receive a plaque and have their name engraved on a display plaque that remains in Pharmacy.
Recipient must be registered in a Master's or doctoral program in the School of Pharmacy.
Award recipients are selected by the Pharmacy Graduate Studies & Research Committee annually in April per the following criteria (no application required):
- Highest Final Grade in the Course PHARM 610 Topics in Drug Development
- in the year in which the award is given
- Best Student Presentation in the Pharmacy Research Seminar Series
- based on scores and comments from faculty reviewers; must have presented during the previous three terms
- Best Graduate Student Teaching Assistant
- Nominated by an Instructor
- Substantial Impact on Pharmacy's Overall Research Mission
- Nominated by faculty or graduate student
