A scholarship valued at $1,500 will be awarded annually to a graduate student registered full time in a research-based Master’s or PhD program in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Waterloo. Selection will be based on research interest in the area of transportation and/or mobility with the goal of creating a benefit to society. Interested students should submit an application in February to the Associate Dean, Graduate Studies Office in the Faculty of Engineering. This fund is made possible by a donation from Tim Collings.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
