The Wayne C. Fox scholarship was established to attract the very best students to the Faculty of Arts and to recognize the achievements of outstanding young scholars. The scholarships will be awarded on a rotating basis within the faculty to students who have received an Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS). The selection will be made by the Faculty Associate Dean, Graduate Studies.
This award will be paid as the institutional matching funds for the OGS or Queen Elizabeth II Graduate Scholarship in Science & Technology (QEII-GSST).

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
