Subject: Register for the GRADventure Professional Skills Conference

Join us at the GRADventure Professional Skills Conference next week on April 11 (virtual) and/or April 12 (in-person)!

This annual conference, organized by Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs, features workshops delivered by campus support units and external speakers. It is a fantastic opportunity to develop key professional skills sought after by employers, valuable in any career path both within and outside of academia. This year’s conference theme is “Communication and Community”, with sessions focusing on practical strategies and resources on topics such as interpersonal and intercultural communication, building your professional network, creating a pitch presentation, giving and receiving feedback, planning team projects, and communicating boundaries. The in-person conference day on April 12 also features a networking lunch, where food is provided and attendees can connect with their peers.

The conference is split across two days, with separate registration for each day. Day one consists entirely of virtual sessions, while day two is being held on campus and includes lunch. Register for one or both days using the links below:
