Every year the Graduate and Postdoctoral Development Network (GPDN) hosts a conference focused on current topics related to professional and career development for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. This full day conference brings together professionals from across Canada to discuss research and innovations related to graduate student and postdoctoral fellow support. Below you will find information about last year's conference and links to the recorded hybrid sessions.
This hybrid conference was focused on discussing how our graduate support services can continue to evolve to better serve graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. A specific emphasis was placed on adapting and innovating pathways for professional development following the recent years of uncertainty and unpredictability. More information can be found on the GPDN Annual Conference web page.
Sessions from the conference were recorded and uploaded to YouTube. You can access these recordings below:

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is centralized within our Office of Indigenous Relations.
