Call for nominations for graduate students to the University's Board and Senate

The University of Waterloo Senate oversees the academic policy of the University. Senate oversight includes the authority to regulate curricula for all courses, monitor the conduct and results of examinations, determine standards of admission and confer degrees, diplomas, certificates and honorary degrees.

GSPA is looking for the next Assistant Vice-President, Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs – two positions available

Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs (GSPA) is seeking to fill two Assistant Vice-President, Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs positions: one commencing May 1, and the other June 1, each for a two-year term. Currently, the roles are filled by Dr. Shawn Wettig (Faculty of Science) and Dr. Liz Nilsen (Faculty of Arts).

Faculty of Arts seeks candidates for the Lupina Foundation Postdoctoral Research Fellows program

The Faculty of Arts is seeking candidates for its Lupina Foundation Postdoctoral Research Fellows program.  This fellowship aims to attract the best and brightest researchers addressing the social determinants of health, with an emphasis on research at the intersection of health, society, and technology. The program will support exceptional early researchers committed to improved access to health care, quality of life and health outcomes, and the development of preventive solutions for health issues regionally, nationally, and globally.
