Award of Excellence in Graduate Supervision - nominations now open!

Do you know a graduate supervisor that has demonstrated excellence in their field, as well as being a mentor, advisor, and role model? Nominate an outstanding faculty member who has demonstrated excellence in graduate student supervision at the University of Waterloo!

Visit the web page for the guidelines and nomination form. The guidelines contain details as to what a nomination package must be comprised of, along with detailed instructions for the nominator, department and Faculty.

Dr. David Hammond, a Professor in the School of Public Health & Health Systems in the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences was a recipient of this award in 2018-2019.  Students and colleagues who supported Dr. Hammond’s nomination for this award described his mentorship as a combination of inspiration, support and collegiality. He is praised for his commitment to students and the advancement of their learning, success and careers.
