The 2024 AAAS Annual Meeting will take place in Denver, Colorado, February 15-17. Proposals are now being accepted for Scientific Sessions, Workshops, and Lightning Talks. Share your work and submit a proposal by May 4, 2023.
If you are accepted as a presenter, the university will cover your costs to attend the conference. We can also help to arrange group travel if there is a large group of scholars who wish to attend this prestigious event.
The AAAS Annual Meeting offers a unique, exciting, interdisciplinary blend of more than 120 scientific sessions, plenary and topical lectures, workshops, e-poster presentations, and international Expo. It draws thousands of participants each year to its annual conference including members of the general public and prominent media outlets and journalists.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
