Dr. David Hammond, a Professor in the School of Public Health & Health Systems in the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences was a recipient of this award in 2018-2019. Students and colleagues who supported Dr. Hammond’s nomination for this award described his mentorship as a combination of inspiration, support and collegiality. He is praised for his commitment to students and the advancement of their learning, success and careers.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples.
