Scholarships, valued at $12,000 per year for a maximum of two years, will be awarded annually to students who will be registered full time in the doctoral program in the School of Computer Science in the Faculty of Mathematics. Students will be automatically considered when they apply for admission to the PhD program, based on academic excellence and potential for their research to be internationally competitive. These scholarships are funded by an endowment established by the Government of Ontario, Canada Foundation for Innovation, and Bell Emergis.
Each scholarship is valued at $12,000 per year ($4,000 per term) for up to two years.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
