AMTD Waterloo Global Talent Postdoctoral Fellowship

Through a generous three million dollar donation from alumnus Calvin Choi, the AMTD Waterloo Global Talent Postdoctoral Fellowship program has been able to provide a limited number of highly prestigious fellowships to exceptional academics, researchers and inventors. Fellowships include a $75,000 annual salary, and engagement fund of $7,500, plus access to additional funds to create disruptive research dissemination opportunities.

Beginning in 2020, the program will welcome a total five cohorts of exceptional scholars to Waterloo, with 2024 being the final cohort. The competition for the 2024 cohort closed on December 1, 2023, and no further applications will be considered for the AMTD program. We look forward to announcing the 2024 cohort of AMTD scholars in fall 2024.
