Awards valued between $1,000 and $10,000 will be provided to eligible graduate students who are registered full time in the following programs in the Faculty of Environment: Master of Climate Change, Master of Development Practice, Master of Economic Development and Innovation, Master of Environmental Studies (thesis), Master of Arts (thesis), Master of Science (thesis), and any of the Doctoral programs in the Faculty of Environment. To be considered, students must be in good standing (min. overall average of B+) in their respective programs. In the case of being considered for an entrance award, students must be in good standing in their previous program. Students must be recommended by the Graduate Officer or Program Director to the Associate Dean, Graduate Studies, Faculty of Environment for selection. Awards are typically made in the first year of recipient's program.

Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
