The goal will be to provide one scholarship valued at $7,500 or two scholarships each valued at $3,750 annually to full-time graduate students entering graduate studies in the Computational Mathematics Graduate Program in the Faculty of Mathematics. This fund is made possible by a donation from the Fong Education Foundation Limited. Mr. Eddie Fong (BMath ’80) has enjoyed an extremely successful career and is pleased to support his alma mater.

Selection will be made on the basis of academic excellence (minimum 80%) as well as demonstrated interest in computational and/or industrial mathematics.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples.
