The Fraser Award for Graduate Student Research is awarded yearly to the winner of the Management Sciences student research paper competition. It will be awarded in the Spring term to the student who wrote the best research paper in the previous three terms (Spring, Fall, Winter).
Submissions must be papers completed while the author was a student in the Management Sciences graduate program, and must reflect research carried out primarily in the Management Sciences Department. The student must be the main author of the paper, although the award may be shared among several Management Sciences student co-authors. The best paper will be chosen on the basis of overall research quality, taking into account the experience and field of the individual student. Submissions for the competition will be judged by a panel of professors within the Department, chosen by the Chair to reflect the various research interests of the Department of Management Sciences.
Amount varies.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
