Graduate Student Instructor Award in Philosophy

Award description: 

One award valued at $200 will be given annually to a Philosophy graduate student to acknowledge excellence as a Graduate Student Instructor in the Department of Philosophy. Students who were Student Instructors in any of the three terms in the previous year are eligible to be considered for this award. Selection is made by the Faculty annually in May and will be based on teaching evaluation scores, professional development courses completed, student comments, and track record of competent and successful administration of courses.
