History MA student, Megan Hamilton, has been named one of twenty-five finalists in the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada's (SSHRC) Storytellers competition.
This competition "challenges postsecondary students across the country to inspire audiences with a research story—in up to three minutes or 300 words—of how SSHRC-funded research is making a difference in the lives of Canadians." Megan's submission focused on her research of the Vernon Military Camp and its contribution to the Second World War.
The final five winners will be announced May 16th.
Well done Megan!
