INDIGENOUS VERIFICATION IS REQUIRED FOR INDIGENOUS CULTURAL VENDORS 

The Gidinawendamin/Ska’nikú•lát Pow Wow is a one-day celebration featuring vendors, dancers, and singers from the Region of Waterloo and beyond. This competition Pow Wow celebrates Indigenous culture and traditions through song, dance, arts, crafts, and cuisine. The event is intended to provide a safe, welcoming, and vibrant gathering space for both Indigenous and non-Indigenous members of the University of Waterloo community and the broader public to come together in the spirit of indigenization, decolonization, and reconciliation. 
Please complete the following application and review all vendor rules and responsibilities carefully before submitting. Please note that submitting this form does not guarantee a vendor space. 

Priority will be given to First Nations, Inuit, and Métis arts and crafts vendors. A limited number of non-Indigenous information booths may also be accepted. The Gidinawendamin/Ska’nikú•lát Pow Wow Committee reserves the right to accept or decline any application. Applicants will be contacted by a Pow Wow Committee member no later than August 15, 2026.
