Indspire Building Brighter Futures Scholarship Application Workshop for Indigenous Students
Are you an Indigenous student at the University of Waterloo looking to learn more about Indspire funding? Join the Office of Indigenous Relations online or in-person to help you navigate the Indspire: Building Brighter Futures (BBF) Scholarship application. Students will be supported by OIR staff in-person, with an Indspire representative joining virtually via Microsoft Teams to provide insight and answer questions.
This session will walk through key components of the BBF application, share tips and insights, and provide space for students to ask questions.
Students only need to complete the application once to be considered for all applicable bursaries and scholarships.
Building Brighter Futures (BBF) Scholarship Deadlines: August 1, November 1, February 1 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

How to Prepare
To get the most out of this session, students are strongly encouraged to:
- Create an account on Indspire’s website and begin the application in advance of the workshop to allow the session to focus on clarifying questions, strengthening applications, and navigating common challenges.
- Create a rough budget of your expenses and income
- Verification of status will be required as part of the application process
