On May 5th, the Office of Indigenous Relations (OIR) and the Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Office (SVPRO) will host Red Dress Day to honour Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People, featuring a presentation by Tamara Bernard and a ceremonial dress-hanging event by Elder Myeengun Henry.

To celebrate Indigenous Peoples History Month and Pride Month, the Office of Indigenous Relations and the Keeping Well at Work (KW@W) program are excited to welcome Kai Potts for a special event on June 18.

Kai is a proud Two-Spirit community builder with a big heart and a lot to say. Whether he's sharing stories about Indigenous identity, queerness, fashion, or his favourite video games, Kai brings humour, insight, and authenticity to every conversation.

Join us for a hybrid event in celebration of National Indigenous Languages Day, focused on Haudenosaunee language revitalization! This event, hosted by the University of Waterloo and the Office of Indigenous Relations, will feature Dr. Talena Atfield, Dakota Rohrer, and Dr. Sara General, who are all contributing to the vital work of preserving and revitalizing Haudenosaunee languages.

Join us for an engaging career workshop hosted by SAP in collaboration with the University of Waterloo Office of Indigenous Relations.

This event is designed to support Indigenous students in exploring career and networking opportunities while developing essential skills for co-op and early career roles at SAP in finance, sales and business, engineering, marketing, HR and more.

Meet with AccessAbility Services to get personalized support in registering and navigating the process. 

This is drop-in support for Indigenous students already registered with AccessAbility to arrange final exam accommodations before the March 1st deadline.

We need your voice and input in the creation of the new Faculty-Based Indigenous Peer Mentorship Program. With your help we will be able to create a Mentorship Program that will help ease the transition of Indigenous Students into Post-Secondary.

We will be hosting listening sessions to give you the opportunity to voice your ideas in what the program needs, how we should implement it, and what the best form of training is.
