Be a Library Ambassador

The Library will be hiring students who:

  • Are enthusiastic about the Library
  • Think the Library is amazing and Waterloo is an amazing school
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Can relate well to students and their parents, as well as faculty and staff

Library Ambassadors will attend and facilitate library activities throughout the semester. The Library Ambassadors will provide support and information to students at campus fairs, library-wide events, and other library outreach initiatives.

Library Ambassadors are part of the Library Outreach committee. The Library Outreach committee provides activities and initiatives for students to engage with the Library. The Library Outreach committee works together as a team to achieve common goals related to engaging students and educating them on services the Library can provide.

Library Ambassadors are hired once a term.

Applications for the spring term will be accepted until midnight on Wednesday July 12, 2017.
