Creating a Corpus or Dipping your Toes into Digital Humanities Data
Get comfortable with Digital Scholar Lab’s search , build, clean, and analyse functions.
Presenters: Sarah Ketchley, digital humanities specialist and Kevin Kohls, Gale primary sources consultant.

Workshop #2
2:30 to 3:45 pm
Tool Training Deep Dive
A deep dive into: name entity recognition, sentiment analysis, and topic modeling. Familiarity with Digital Scholar Lab an asset.
Presenters: Sarah Ketchley, digital humanities specialist and Lindsey Gervais, Gale digital pedagogy specialist.

Workshop #3
4:00 to 5:15 pm
Bringing it to the Classroom 
Learn how to integrate aspects of Digital Scholar Lab and geographical positioning systems into your courses and within D2L’s Learn. Examples will use Gale primary sources.
Presenters: Sarah Ketchley, digital humanities specialist and Lindsey Gervais, Gale digital pedagogy specialist.
