Learn the basics of programming in Python and build a foundation to start your journey into using Python with ArcGIS.

This workshop is designed for users with no Python experience. It will provide a foundation to using Python and begin to introduce the concepts of working with ArcGIS through Python.

After this workshop, you will have working knowledge of how Python works, and be ready to go out and tackle more comprehensive projects in the future.

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Day is a day to share how GIS technology supports research, informs decision-making and creates a positive impact around the world.

The Library’s Geospatial Centre, Environment Technology & Instructional Support (ETIS), and the Waterloo Association of Geography Students (WAGS) have partnered to host an afternoon of learning.
