Accio Potterheads! You have been summoned to explore our enchanted book stacks and charmed spaces for a day filled with Harry Potter-themed events and activities, including:

Create a poem using the spines of library books! Whether amateur or professional, channel your inner Peeves (no pranks allowed) to create some peaceful prose, a lilting limerick or a hallowed haiku.

Take a close look at some of the spooky items lurking in the basement of Dana Porter Library. Staff will be on hand on the lobby with some enchanted objects that you can touch and feel!

Can you solve the many riddles of Azkaban in order to unlock the gates and escape to freedom? Grab some some wizarding accomplices and test your skills in our Harry Potter-themed escape room! Teams can be 2 to 5 people.

Was your name never chosen from the Goblet of Fire, but you're sure you could have gotten an 'O' in the first task? Test your skills of dexterity with our Dragon's Eggs game!

Come out and try the sport that has been described as "the thinking wizard/witch's Quidditch." Although its reputation may not be as cool as other wizarding games, this muggle friendly version won't leave you needing Skele-Gro.

Test your knowledge of the Harry Potter book series with our trivia questions! Can you outsmart our Library Ambassadors?

Want a good, old-fashioned Wizard’s duel without the potential for injury? The Department of Magical Games and Sports has a new development based on a game from the muggle world! It involves something with “paddles” though we aren’t sure what, so come to the Arts Quad to find out and compete against your friends in this magical new game!

Picture yourself in Hogwarts and have your photo taken in front of our green screen with a huge selection of Harry Potter props!

A selection of backgrounds will be available to choose from, and your photos will be emailed to you after the event so you can share them with all your friends!

Xenophilius Lovegood is setting up a new edition of The Quibbler at Waterloo and is looking for contributors. Will your page come to life in this magical
new edition? Unleash your inner Luna and join us at the DC library to pitch your design. All applicants will be able to take their work home...along with their own golden snitch!
