GIS Day is a global event to educate how geography makes a difference in our lives through Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology.
To celebrate GIS Day, the Library's Geospatial Centre and the Faculty of Environment’s Mapping, Analysis and Design will be hosting activities at the Dana Porter Library.
GIS Day is open to anyone interested in exploring the various applications of GIS, how it's used at University of Waterloo and meeting others interested in GIS. If you're interested in attending or presenting at this event, register here.
