Wednesday, January 13, 2021 — 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM EST

The Library’s Student Engagement Committee will be hosting a new initiative called “Scholar(ly) Creates with Special Guest.” This new initiative is oriented towards providing an opportunity for students to get creative and socialize with one another to make the Winter 2021 term more manageable. Every Wednesday, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. throughout the term, events will include such activities as arts and crafts, do-it-yourself, creating digital materials, gardening tips and more.

January 13, 2021: Scholar(ly) creates paint nite with Caitlyn Sageman and Mary Lynne Bartlett

Scholar(ly) Creates Paint Nite on laptopOur first event is a Paint Night – join us to create a beautiful winter scene and don’t forget to bring your coffee and tea. 

Below is a list of suggested materials. If you don’t have paint at home, feel free to use what you already have. We would love to see what you come up with! 

  • Canvas or heavy paper, such as cardstock 

  • Acrylic paint – our winter scene uses blue, black and white (feel free to use what you have)

  • Paintbrushes  

  • Something to protect your work surface 

On the night of the event join the Microsoft Teams link. See you there!
