Tim Horton's Camp Day

Each year, Camp Day raises money to send youth from low-income families in our community for a camp experience that builds lasting strengths and essential life skills.  On June 6, every penny from Tim Horton's coffee sales, as well as money raised through Camp Day bracelet sales, donations, special events and activities, is donated to the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation.

Thanks to the support of special guests, Team Members, and the community, Camp Day 2017 raised over $13.7 million!  Since the Foundation’s inception in 1974, more than 250,000 kids have benefited from an enriching camp experience that is much more than just a fun trip away from home. During their session, campers learn the importance of setting goals, the value of teamwork and discover their leadership potential. Camp is often the catalyst for change when these young people return home feeling stronger, more connected to their communities and optimistic about their futures.

The Library's Director of Organization Services, Sharon Lamont, will be serving up coffee and laughs from 11:30am to 12:00pm at the Tim Horton's in the Modern Languages building.
