The Geospatial Centre has access to two scales of maps coverage for the United States of America, 1:100,000, and 1:250,000. These maps are produced by the United States Geological Survey and the United States Department of the Interior. These map series are topographic, showing surface features, human-made features, and political boundaries.
For the scales of 1:100,000 and 1:250,000, the Geospatial Centre has complete coverage of the United States. For more information, please see the Geospatial Centre reference staff.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg, and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
