"A library staff cookbook created to commemorate the 25th anniversary of UW? Esther Millar recently donated all her old files to the Archives, and we’re finding all sorts of interesting things! We received two copies of this, one of which has a “do not remove from library office” sticker. I note that it seems rather well-thumbed compared to our other copy…Also note the rather long list of errata, some of which could prove rather game-changing!" Submitted by Martha Lauzon.
Another find from Esther's collection! "This certificate was hand-written, so it wasn’t some automated last-name-first glitch turning “Library, Waterloo University, Serials Department” into the monster you see before you. In other news, when’s the last time the Serials department got a certificate for anything?" Submitted by Martha Lauzon.

"During Thursday, August 6th and Friday, August 7th Josh Schmiedchen, LTFS and Sky, LTFS co-op setup the flex lab podium on the left side of the room and have provided a computer on the podium and monitor for presenters, giving them less strain while presenting in the flex lab so that they can view their presentation without having to look at the projector screen." "When I arrived at work on Wednesday (July 29) I saw that my office was decorated for my birthday. I was quite impressed with the collage of geese with party hats on that adorn the wall." Submitted by Patrick Miller. Happy birthday, Patrick!
"I’m a bit late but in case you carry the vacation theme to next week, here’s a pic of me with my some of my family at a Pittsburgh Pirates baseball game last week. We enjoyed a lovely week together at a retreat centre in Pennsylvania. I hope you are all having a wonderful summer too." Submitted by Sharon Lamont.
