The week is looking pretty festive! ...with maybe a touch of frustration.

The weather may have turned frightful some days this week, but library staff were out and about taking photos!

It was an exciting week in the library with lots of costumes and treats!

The last week of summer is upon us and the Frosh arrive this weekend!

As exams come to an end, many library staff are still hoping for summer weather to come as we enter intersession. 

The weather may have been cool, but it didn't dampen the spirits of library staff!

Our staff have been hitting the road this week!

Davis Circulation had a great time this week at our garden party!  Jenny Hirst was the lucky staff member to win the prize of a beautiful potted plant for her garden!

This week's submissions come from library staff in Porter and Davis Circulation and Library Technology & Facilities Services. Subjects include a quiet corner behind the scenes, colleagues pausing to celebrate an anniversary, the return of the University's unofficial mascot, the wintry weather, a back stage peek at technology, and a prize winner. 

What an interesting week it has been!  March was a lamb for a few days, and people dared to cast off their winter coats.  But then the lion came roaring back on Wednesday.

"A couple of students take advantage of [last] Friday’s above-zero temps by playing “aerobie” (i.e. Frisbee) outside the Porter Library," notes Talsan Schulzke.

From line-ups to books, and from snow to dreams of spring. While we're all trying to stay warm in these frigid temperatures, some library staff have found ways to imagine spring is coming!
