A long weekend and the summer days in and out of the library.
With much help from her son Ben, Esther Millar spent the long weekend building a path, spreading mulch, and cleaning up around the new garden shed that was installed in July. Photo submitted by Esther Millar.
Peters-Long Weekend. "I tested out both board game cafes in Waterloo and Kitchener this weekend! If you're looking for quirky and nerd-chic, Kitchener is your place, with some classics and an impressive amount of obscure, hard-to-find games. Waterloo's set-up is very pristine with a lot of classic, group and family games. This picture was taken at the Waterloo's Games on Tap Board Game Cafe." The photo isn't a throwback but Lola is. He came filled with candy to a Mexican themed library staff barbecue and never left. Lola resides in the Porter Circulation Workroom and has been through 3 main floor renovations. Photo submitted by Karen Davidson.
