This week's photos have captured some Library Fun!
Kathy Szigeti discovered this paper installation on April 14th in DC Library by the stand up computers. Possibly created by a student as a means to de-stress? Lift others' spirits? Or simply a product of procrastination!?
On April 14th, Resource Sharing celebrated National Grilled Cheese day (technically on April 12) with a lunch party! Submitted by Mary Lynne Bartlett.
Janet Bender was kind enough to scan in these older photos of the Cataloguing Department's Christmas party, 1980.
"Jenny Williams, Liz Lettenbauer, Isabelle Nador, Nancy Heimpel and Mone Quintana. Bill Oldfield’s office is in the background. Liz is holding the song sheet as Bill always had a sing song of Christmas carols".
"Hazel Wilde and in the background Karen Shantz and Angelo Graham".
"Bill Oldfield on Santa’s lap (Wendy Schickler from Systems), to the right is Karen Shantz. On the left is Pam Ng, John Penteker and Melissa Teschke (also from Systems playing Santa’s elf)".
"Betty Graf, Bill Oldfield, Adelheid Bender and behind her is Cindy Randall".

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg, and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
