Library Lens - Week 37

The last week of September already!  Hope you enjoy this weeks submissions.

Picture of the Dana Porter library against a solid and bright blue sky.

The first full day of fall and it is picture perfect.  The royal blue sky against the white of the library was absolutely beautiful.  This is walking back to work while I was out at lunch time.   Photo submitted by Janet Bender.

Rows and rows of empty exam space in the PAC

An aerial view of the desks set up for the winter semester exams.  Photo submitted by Samantha Gibbon.

Spice rack with lots of stickers behind it.

What you can do with stickers on fruit. My aunt’s flat in Montreal.  Photo submitted by Anne Fullerton.

Projector and TTC machine from circ desk.

The modern and the vintage!  On the left is the brand new mini projector now available for student use from the Porter circulation desk and on the right is the TTY machine, also kept at the Porter circulation desk.  The TTY machine was provided from the AccessAbility Centre for use by patrons who are hearing impaired.  It might be decades old, but they remain in use!  Photo submitted by Samantha Gibbon.

This week's throw back photo

Old ariel ILL machine.

An original ILL Ariel station.  Things have certainly changed in Resource Sharing!
