"I love Diet Coke and regularly have quite a few empty cans in my office. I was doing what I like to call the “walk of shame” today to the recycling bin and Shirley and Carly caught me." Submitted by Mary Lynne Bartlett, photo taken by Shirley Fraser.
We celebrated Janet Bender’s 35 years at the Library today, with 24 years specifically in the Cataloguing Department! As she puts it: “Whether we have a pot luck or a coffee break, we know how to do it right. Now if that’s not called team work, I don’t know what is. The baking, the cheese, drink, grapes and sweets were fantastic… Thanks again to each one of you for making my life special in one way or another. It has been great working with such a good group of people.” Photo submitted by Alex Dobre.
"I was wandering around the campus at lunch yesterday and stumbled across this student study area on the second floor of EV2. I was surprised to see that the faculty has reused carrels and chairs that the library surplussed from the Porter 6th renovation project". Photo submitted by Carl Nagel.
This photo shows some of the newly installed white boards in the 10th floor group study areas. There are 5 in total so far in 3 locations. This is a part of a project to add more white boards to group study rooms and other areas where appropriate in both Porter and Davis libraries. Photo submitted by Carl Nagel.
Davis Circulation celebrated St. Paddy's Day with a coffee break, 'try your luck' games and a potted shamrock door prize! Photo submitted by Jamie Reilly.
