When Posting Preprints to UWSpace
If you foresee publishing a substantially similar version of your work in the future, keep in mind that some publishers may interpret your UWSpace deposit as a form of 'publishing' on the web. This is publisher and discipline-specific. We recommend you check with the publisher directly.
It is your responsibility to notify the UWSpace team If your publisher:
- Requires that the preprint be updated with the accepted post-print or final version of the article.
- Requires that a special statement be added to the record indicating the place of publication.
- Requires that the preprint be removed.
