The University of Waterloo Library invites you to participate in three feedback opportunities. You can read about these opportunities below.

Library website: usability tests with faculty

  • What will you be doing? Using the library website to complete short tasks and answer questions.
  • Who can participate? Faculty and instructors.
  • How long is the session? One hour maximum.
  • Where does it take place? Virtually in Microsoft Teams.
  • When is the study? Mid-June.
  • What will you receive? A small gift to show our appreciation.

Master space planning: faculty consultations

The Library is initiating the creation of a Master Space Plan for the Davis Centre and Dana Porter libraries. This project involves envisioning how the Library will evolve over the next couple of decades. For this project, feedback from faculty is critical. We would love to hear your thoughts and ideas on new spaces and services that could be integrated into the Library.

  • What will you be doing? Participating in a virtual 30-60 minute consultation.
  • Who can participate? Faculty and instructors.
  • How long is the session? One hour maximum.
  • Where does it take place? Virtually in Microsoft Teams.
  • When is the study? Mid-July.
  • What will you receive? A small gift to show our appreciation.

  • What will you be doing? Participating in a short survey to let us know what you think of the Library's "Information for" pages.
  • Who can participate? All members of the University community, including students, faculty, and staff.
  • How long is the survey? Approximately four minutes.
  • Where does it take place? Take the survey online.
  • When is the study? Runs until July 30, 2021.
  • What will you receive? Undergraduate and graduate students will be entered into a draw to win one of five $10 W Store gift cards.
