Research led by PhD student Brok Laschowski was featured by Jensen Huang, President and CEO of NVIDIA, in his keynote address at the 2021 GPU Technology Conference (GTC). Brok’s doctoral research focuses on deep learning for visual intelligence, modelling the visual information processing neural networks in the brain. These brain-inspired algorithms were applied to large-sclae visual scene recognition.
