John McPhee, Professor of Systems Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo and the Canada Research Chair in Biomechatronic System Dynamics, gives an invited talk at the Waterloo International Workshop on Neural Engineering and Rehabilitation on modelling the dynamics and control of exoskeletons and rehabilitation robots.

Research led by PhD student Brok Laschowski was featured in the GTC keynote address by Jensen Huang, Founder and CEO of NVIDIA. Brok’s research focuses on deep learning for visual intelligence, drawing inspiration from the brain’s visual information processing system. Parya Khoshroo, MoRG member and MASc student in Systems Design Engineering, received 2nd Prize in the Three Minute Thesis Competition at the University of Waterloo for her research innovations in stroke rehabilitation robotics and virtual reality. Congratulations Parya!
