The Department of Philosophy welcomes donations from groups and individuals to support our educational and research goals.
In recent years, from generous donations we have received, the department has been able to honour our outstanding students through our annual Philosophy Awards, and also to fund travel for graduate students, enabling them to present their research at professional conferences.
If you would like to discuss ways of supporting our students, research, and outreach projects, please contact Patricia Marino, Chair of the Department of Philosophy, or the Faculty of Arts' Director of Advancement, Kim Bardwell for details.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is centralized within our Office of Indigenous Relations.
