The School of Planning's 2024 Graduation Luncheon | School of Planning

On June 11^th, the School of Planning celebrated the accomplishments of our 2024 Graduates during the annual Graduation Luncheon. This event marks a tradition for the School of Planning to honour the time our graduates have spent with us, and to provide final words of encouragement as they prepare to move forward in their future endeavours.

This year, over 130 of our students and their supporters joined us in Federation Hall to share a meal and listen to words of wisdomfrom our guest speakers: Raida Chowdhury spoke on behalf of our Undergraduate students, David Attema on behalf of our Graduate students, and Robert Walter-Joseph as a School of Planning alum. Each speaker provided their own unique view on the importance of community, optimism and staying true to one’s morals in the face of the challenges of entering the Planning profession.

Many of our graduating students received their commemorative School of Planning rings purchased earlier in the year. For those that missed the deadline to order their ring for this year’s Convocation, the School of Planning ring can be purchased year-round for shipping or direct pickup through the W Store for the cost of approximately $143.08 (plus taxes).

The School of Planning extends our thanks to all attendees for joining us on such an important day. We wish the class of 2024 all the best going forward!
