The role of PSA

The Planning Students' Association (PSA) serves as the official undergraduate organization of the Faculty of Environment, School of Planning and represents and promotes the interests of undergraduate planning students. The PSA endeavours to maintain mutual co-operation among the members of the Faculty, the School of Planning, Alumni and the planning profession.

A new executive Council is elected every term and each council collaborates the best ways to have students remain involved in Planning related activities. Participating in their events is a great way to remain involved with the School of Planning, improving both academically and professionally, and enjoying your term at the University of Waterloo.

PSA objectives

The PSA's primary objective is to provide students in the School of Planning with opportunities to participate in memorable and enjoyable events that increase social interaction and stimulate academic growth. There are several recreational activities for students to participate in such as online movie and game nights, social opportunities with professors, and a Buddy System focused on fostering positive relationships within the School. Professional activities that PSA hosts include resume and interview critiques, LinkedIn profile building, and much more. PSA also aims to make each term more memorable by designing and distributing merchandise made specifically for Planning students.
