Transfer to Planning

Transfer to the School of Planning

The Honours Planning Co-operative Education degree is a highly subscribed program.

Students must complete 4 Planning (PLAN) or Environmental Studies (ENVS) courses, achieving a minimum average of 78% and there must be space in the program to be considered for admission. If you take more than 4 PLAN/ENVS courses, all courses will be considered in the average. We strongly recommend taking PLAN courses to get an idea of the Planning program and whether it's the right fit for you. Transfer students normally enter the program as 1A Planning students and are admitted during the fall term only.

Note: Even if students meet the minimum average requirements, transfer into the program is not guaranteed. We strongly recommend that students have a solid backup plan in place.

To apply, Faculty of Environment students need to submit a Plan Modification Form. Students from other faculties need to submit a Faculty Transfer Form. Applications are due by July 1st. Students will be notified in the summer whether they are granted admission into Planning.
